When FSlayer was released there were a ton of people levelling alts but noone running high level dungeons so nihils spiked in price because everyone needed them for all the quests and shit but noone actually wanted to farm them, or they needed the ones they farmed for themselves.

About two weeks after ancients came out King's ruin was more than 100k net profit per run because people needed seals to finish their feat but were too lazy to run them.

When true ancients came out if you had the sense to save up gold cube frags you could unload your stash on people too stupid to do the same.

If you have even a rough understanding of what kind of content or playerbase shifts are coming up and 6th grade level critical thinking skills then money basically makes itself in this game.
