If so, PLEASE research/learn 'Item Awakening' and make a webm.
That skill looks so fucking freaky. You literally make your own instance to beat a boss and unlock an item.

Prior to these I would take Pyro for AoE DPS and go into Linker to link mobs into my DPS. These classes would then support my ability to farm for mats by mobbing and AoE DPS.

you are missing out on 20 extra blessing damage and 40ish extra sacrament damage per attack, but at the same time the two extra skills you get from priest aren't that good for you

smite can hit upwards of 2k on demons as soon as you get it without even buffing the attribute, paladin also has the super useful 50sp regen attribute that makes so you can ignore spirit completely, and resist elements that always helps

Is swordsman<highlander<barb<barb<barb<fencer okay? I'm thinking I might have messed up by taking highlander as my first advancement and should have gone hoplite or even circle2 swordsman instead. So this stone exists in the Owl Burial Ground that's not entirely clear what it does. It's only clickable at certain times, I've had to wait near it for several minutes before it responds. When you talk to it, it asks you for fishing rods. 1, 2, 5, 10, or 20.

A few hours later, I'm the highest on Zemyna for kills on red fishermen, and finally got 20 fishing rods to test with. It appears to give you this buff, which lasts 15 minutes and as best I can tell either gives you 150 def/mdef or doubles your defenses. Everything on the map hit me for 1's. Changing maps seems to have cancelled the buff though, and 20 fishing rods is mad expensive so I'm not really sure what the point of this is...

I went C2 pyro before linker just because I wanted more fireball levels. At level 10 it demolishes bosses, usually just 4 fireballs drain a full health bar of a boss. Fire Pillar isn't great for leveling, but in dungeons it stuns all the enemies it hits for as long as it's up.

Psycho is pretty fun. But you need rank 2 to have access to a certain attribute for pressure that lets you stun shit. Then it gets interrupted far less often and you can destroy huge mobs without trouble. Also melts bosses.

You need to finish all of the quests first before interacting with the pillars.

Check the pond at Tree of Faith first, finish that quest. You should be able to interact with the pillars after beating Succubus and completing the quest.

After getting the three pillar fragments, go south at the Tree of Faith area and use the Seal of Space at the Obelisk.

The reason to go Psycho3 is to lower SP costs for Pressure. I didn't really play it myself just know a dude who's playing it. Not sure how worthy it is to go more than one rank in Psycho, but at the same time it's hard to say if it's worth going only one rank into it since Pressure will be quite fucking hard to maintain and you won't stun.

You can also drop fireballs around, staffs let you hit them but honestly its not worth it, just drop some on your flame ground to stack up the deeps.

Flying mob? Ignore it. If you have to kill it use fire pillar.

Remember to jump attack always to agro things into you fire area.

Do heavy grinding on high density maps, rush through low density areas for questing. Never use exp cards when there is a high density area you could be grinding instead.

They haven't once addressed the issue of exp gains. They've never changed or adjusted exp gain at all outside of the bonus for it being in a beta.

During iCBT1 the biggest complaint people had was that the grind was absolutely shitty, and it hit much earlier too. They didn't fix it, they didn't even fucking care.

They're not even going to listen to us, because the Koreans are telling them that levelling is too fast. Oh yeah, Koreans have higher exp rates than us and get events giving them free exp.

The entire levelling process after Royal Mausoleum needs redesigning. It's retardedly bad and just gets worse.

Mobs spawns aren't the issue. Infact, on some maps more mob spawns would make grinding on them even less viable (enjoy being killed in 0.1 seconds when you pull a group of enemies).

There are many problems with grinding, especially at 160+. There is only a few maps with decent mob density. Some maps have mobs that are not ideal at all for grinding on, some are just too tough to kill and give shitty exp, others have mobs that can 2 shot anyone and come in large groups so you will die pulling them. Exp needed per level increases at a significantly higher rate than exp gained. Quests and dungeons stop giving decent amounts of exp. There is absolutely nothing else worth doing.

The game is so poorly designed after Royal Mausoleum I'm beginning to believe that the Koreans just don't test shit at all.

There are a few people 170+ because they played 20 hours a day and beat the rest of the server to the best grinding spot (the only grinding spot).

Right now, this map which was the only area to grind, is one of the worst areas in the game to grind purely because of how many people are playing on it.

It took these people 2-3 days of 15+ hours of grinding a day to get past this shitty area. With how many people are in this area now, it's going to take you 2-3 weeks. At a massively inflated exp rate no less.

No. The problem is the games design is retardedly bad. At level 160 there should be around 10-12 maps within your range you can visit and level off of, but they game is so poorly designed that you can only grind off of one of these. The other maps all have major issues that make grinding on them a waste of time to even try.

When will retards get it that it isn't hard to level up, it isn't hard to grind. What is hard is FINDING a place that isn't crowded for grinding or has high density for grinding.

You will find two lines with "language"

And the problem with ToS isn't that other maps are not as good, it's that they're not viable AT ALL.

One map for example has lots of enemies and would be great for grinding on. Except these enemies 2 shot you so you can't mob them at all. Infact, you cannot even grind here in any way, shape or form because you simply die too quickly.

In ToS the best place to grind is the same map for EVERYONE, in group or not in a group, and in ANY build. And they don't even have the decency to have more channels open despite the fact that level 40 maps with just a few players have 20 channels up.

Did you play RO? It took like an hour or two to hit your first job, a week to hit your second job, and maybe 2-3 months to hit level 85-90. Then you actually started to grind.
