It means you can cram one hell of a lot more dialogue in the game, since paying a writer is way cheaper than paying a writer and a cast of voice actors.

Bioware overestimated the amount of va work required to successfully maintain it in an mmo.

Hence the Alliance classic kotor 'feature' conversation style. They call it a feature while in the meantime it's simply to cheapen on VA work.

Sith Champion was in the base game, before adaptive armor was a thing. It's heavy, so Maras wouldn't have been able to equip it anyway.

Knight and Warrior sets are (or were) split like that since they're the only classes that are intended to use more than one armor type.

I've only had experience with Guardian/Juggernaut and I liked the way they tank, if only because they feel 'familiar' compared to other tanks from other MMOs.

The crit gained from mastery is rather small, I am around 6k mastery and it gives approx 10%~ crit.

Also, mastery has diminishing returns, its really small at first and then gets really bad around 6500 mastery. With current gear you can only hit that with procs and such.. but Power does not have diminishing returns
