I've tried the 7 day trial as well as renting Catherine for a month, and it worked well. I couldn't even detect any lag with a fighting game like Street Fighter. Your mileage may vary though -- try the trial and see if your connection is good enough to make it worthwhile.

I'd get the Infinity bundle if you like the look of the PS4 and controller.

Battlefront isn't good if you're looking for a good shooter. It's got a lot of problems that really eliminate skillful play. However the graphics, sound design and pandering to Star Wars fans is top notch. I didn't enjoy the beta that much but I'm still considering getting Battlefront just because it appeals to me as a Star Wars fan.

Disney Infinity 3.0 is a decent game, but probably not appealing if you don't want to get involved with physical collecting and creation aspects of it. Also the Disney Infinity Boba Fett sells for about $40-50 on ebay because you can't buy it outside of bundles until early 2016. The other DI stuff will sell for about $50 total so if you end up not liking Disney Infinity you can just sell the stuff to offset the cost so for that alone I'd suggest the DI bundle

You're kinda on the right track. DI campaigns are set in open worlds, so of course there's a lot of jumping/running around and searching for collectibles if you're into that. You don't have to.

But 1.0 and 2.0's combat was similar to LEGO games. Apparently 3.0 really changed things up though.

DI games' Toy Boxes are a whole different story though and are why most people play the games. The Toy Box aspect is kinda like Minecraft I guess. I've never really played random people's levels.

And the map, one of the most important things in a roguelike is the ugliest thing in town and not always accurate. It should be simple and unobtrusive you should be able to take a glance at it and know everything that you need. It's pretty obvious that the people who designed this were not familiar with the genre at all.

Yea I get that you're proud of making your game, now put the control scheme as the first thing in your instruction booklet, no not a "things to do so you won't die" page. Do people really not know how instruction manual should work anymore? The most commonly referenced stuff (like controls) are first not hidden on page 24. It should never take a conversational tone while explaining game mechanics, it should always be an informative tone.

I love this type of game, but I cannot properly articulate why this is bad without screaming everything. Even the opacity of the map pisses me off! THE OPACITY OF A MAP!

Should I get a PS4 or upgrade my PC? I wanna play Bloodborne and TLOU and prefer using a controller for games like MGSV and other third person games, but that's possible on PC, too.

I still use them with my ps4 but sometimes they randomly seem to fuck with the wifi in my house so I don't use them as often.

I started that 7-day trial for PS Now because suddenly my internet connection can handle it. Played Puppeteer, BioShock Infinite, Earth Defense Force, and De Blob. All were impressively responsive though with some heavy artifacts throughout BioShock and EDF (worse than it usually looks).

This would be the best shit ever if PS+ included the service. No way am I paying an additional $20 per month on top of the regular subscription.

The ACC in TPP is the reason I redid my thermal paste, and it turns out its just the area is not well optimized so it has unlimited FPS causing the ps4 to go into hyperdrive. Meanwhile running around in the game with way more going on runs fine with no fan issues.

I am guessing its just an issue with the game but see no reports of it with a quick google and was curious if anyone is running into it.

In software update 3.0, did Sony purposely gimp out the media player? I heard it was good for playing mkv torrents, yet I am unable to get anything other than mp3's and photos to work, everything else seems to just give me a weird broken icon next to the file I was attempting to play.
