Nintendo can block the ability to download like this, they could have just blocked the ability to even access the eshop obviously right? So why let us log into the eshop with our NNIDs only to give an error when we try to download? Its easy

they are logging the account info of anyone who logs into the eshop via NNID and then hits the new barrier/error code. It is an effective way to tell who is using unauthorized software. If you manage to log into the eshop with a version that fails the check, you have to be using some sort of hack to achieve it.

So if you used HANS or free multipatcher to try and access the eshop youre fucked. Prepare for that incoming ban probably

I do use the GW launcher, but rxTools is supposed to do it too, it's also supposed to be an alternative to that.

Two weeks ago and last night aren't exactly the same thing. I think they now have updated the readme since the last time I checked, but it used to be wrong. Look at the closed issues and you'll see.

Unless want to launch it from kickhax 2.5 and maybe use some of the tools, you have no reason to update from 2.6.

Can't manage to get oot3dhax working on 9.9 for some reason even when I grabbed an older payload from themehax 1.2 like I did to get it to work on my old3ds. Was hoping to just use browserhax instead and then setup menuhax for him, but I guess not.

I'll try again once the old3ds bugs in oot3dhax are fixed and it's safe to use the latest stuff again

Hey /hbg/, I've got a dead pixel on my screen and apparently the 3DS shows the left-eye screen when 3D is off, which is when I can see the dead pixel. Is there any way to switch the screen to show the right-eye screen when 3D is off, or will that not help at all? I'm on latest rxTools nightly.

So I'm on 9.9 and I gave myself 2.5 Themehax via the manual installer on GBATemp before the latest Menuhax or whatever came out. Should I update to the latest one or am I just safe on the current one I have?

I know Menuhax apparently disables the L button from working as a boot to Themehax at launch or something, but past that I'm kind of in the dark. All I remember is people saying it was safe to overwrite Themehax with Menuhax, but there's a bunch of tiny problems.

It only seems like they can partially tell if you're spoofing it or not in the first place, and if they would do anything to block it it would be NNID authentication rather than the eShop most likely.
