It had a very comfy feel, plus it also had distinct architecture and drastically different layouts in each city that made each of those cities feel distinct. I dunno why, but Skyrim seems to lack that even with city enhancing mods.

I kinda wish they had some way for NPCs to generically interact with each other. Sure, the dialogue between NPCs in Oblivion could get pretty abstract or nonsensical at times, but it did create a certain ambience if you weren't specifically trying to nitpick. It'd be pretty nice if they had that in Skyrim, so that multiple followers could hold conversations with each other. It's a bit off-putting to have like 8 followers in an estate and not have them speak one word to another ever.

When walking around in Skyrim and Morrowind music starts playing, it makes me wonder what Morrowind had that Skyrim doesn't.

Maybe it's nostalgia talking, but in Morrowind there always seemed to be this threat of looming disaster.

Skyrim feels pretty cozy by comparison.

So, I recently made and Argonian dragonborn because I've been playing a lot of monster hunter and wanted to capture the Tigrex feeling in a screaming lizard man.

Is there any particular lore reason that an Argonian would be able to become dragonborn? They just seem so... different from the rest of the races. I understand that it is a gift from the Divine.

Probably nowhere, elder scrolls lore is extremely shallow outside of things you encounter in the games.
They do share certain features, as their scales, eyes and teeth.

They are also one of the oldest, if not the oldest Race on tamriel They also lay Eggs.

That's not really a satisfying answer to compare physical attributes, because there are far more differences in anatomy than similarities.
Argonians are very much a product of the Hist, while Dragons are much more ancient, and as far as I know, have no connection to the Hist. So unless the proto-argonians are related to the dragons in some way, it's really all superficial.

Haha, I don't think I can do that. I'm kind of a nerd and have been a big fan of elder scrolls lore since morrowind, so I guess my question is as much in character as it is out of character.
Why, in this time of strife and disaster in Skyrim, would an Argonian have been chosen to be a dragonborn?

I suppose I'll figure it out as I play some more. This is also the first playthrough I'll be doing the Dark Brotherhood on, having neglected it before.

I HAVE played other Argonians in skyrim, but they were a scummy thief and necromancer who infiltrated all of the holds and made as much gold as possible. Never did any of the main quest because I didn't play them as Dragonborn, was just my thieves' guild outing and I didn't like it in Skyrim so I stopped.

Nerevarine adventuring to Akavir as a footnote was also cool. I kinda wish we would get to see him/her in a game again, as an npc. Like maybe he/she has had a magical accident or some shit and got his/her appearance, memories and abilities partially morphed(cause vastly different player characters originally, naturally). He/She would wear some cool and ominous looking armor all the time and talk a bit weird which would make the player question his/her motives. But nevertheless he/she would help the player character in the end.

The main problem with the nonmoded skyrim i played that the sword combat got old pretty fast i just mashed the m1 button basically and sometimes triggered a cool execution but otherwise it was just stick swinging with not variation.
