That's where the project was announced and took place earlier this year. Not very helpful. And yeah, I look objectively at critcism. Can't set a date for the completion of the patch. Several hundred UI elements still have to be remade from scratch, and most of the menu related scripts have to be redone in order to make horizontal menus a reality.

These scripts could in theory be copied and pasted into Muramasa to save hours of groundwork, given that it ever gets a project going.

There are even outstanding gems among them, but by nature 90% of them are fairly bad.

So 90% of 90% of the VNs in Japan are probably mindless games without plot and lost of questionable scenes with girls that may or may not look older than 14.

See I don't get Sekai Project. They could easily just explain the situation. The re-release has much higher res art, an increase from 800x600 to 1280x720, but some CGs are cropped for the new aspect ratio, a decision made by the original developer. There, end of story, users can make their own decisions based on that.

They're all mostly self contained stories, but you'd definitely get more out of the experience if you've played the previous games. The preferred order would be Cartagra, then Kns1, then Kns2. You could honestly pick any of the three though and probably still have a good experience.
