I joined a random pub, think it was turbine and I was playing as scout.

Enjoying a game is not exactly loving a game.
Enjoying is part of the later one, but its determined by many factors.
TF2 is always in the upper section of the most played games on steam list, despite not receiving as much marketing and support as for example Cs:go.Also the game is 8 years old and yet people still actively play it even though other companies try to draw some customers away to their similar game.
I guess its just a mix of the gameplay and diversity this game has to offer.Theres shitloads of stuff to do (including community made things)
