Short answer: Yes. But if only if you like MD-like games.

Long Answer: It's somewhat unpolished, people here still claims that the Sovereing missing their own buffs is a bug when it's a 50/50 (Try using two sovereings and the buff of the other always land).
It have it perks, but those are as a whole of the genre. If this is your first MD and you are pretty fond about the EO gameplay, it will clash to you, because it's inherently different.
IA is dumb? You can change leader (that's a god send in these games) or use 1 Blast Gauge to control all your party by 9 turns.
Can't fight properly at the entrance of a room? Red Tiles.

It could use a little more time in polishing, but it's fine.

Are nightseekers just shit at inflicting ailments early-on, or am I just really unlucky? None of my maxed-out skills are landing against Tusked Crusher. I imagine things improve after I get Follow Trace or throw on Ailment Mastery with the arcanist subclass, but I've tried five times now, without a single ailment landing.

I want more unique classes.

Maybe a pyromancer class that only uses fire skills to do damage to enemies and support allies. Or an ice based class meant to damage and weaken enemies.

I'm pretty tired of just getting an elemental class that uses all elements where you end up putting points into all 3. While you have dark hunters that specialize in cutting damage only but can weaken enemies in different ways to compensate.

If you absolutely need the healing, just wait and get the subclasses, retire your medic (assuming you have one) into a new arcanist, and give them a stat book and medic subclass. I like retiring at 30, though, because there isn't much of a level disparity at that point.

Just make sure that you don't use Wufan if you intend to retire for stat bonuses later. The portrait gets permanently deleted with no way of getting another in the same playthrough.

On the first strata, playing on Expert isn't difficult so much as it is time consuming. When does it begin to be rewarding to play on Expert?

In EO3, how do i get to the tentacles in the upper corners of B25F? I think i have to do some baiting with the FOEs because they instantly come at you as soon as you enter the rooms(in the room with the damage tiles at least), but i can't for the life of me figure how.

Utter bullshit. You even learn in the game that the thing was artificially created as a response to what might happen if Yggdrasil goes rogue.
And it doesn't matter if 4 comes before or after EO1/EOU1. There's no comparison or relation to be made between the timelines.

In EOU, researchers create Gungnir as a weapon meant to destroy the Core.
In EO4, researchers create the Saviour as a weapon meant to destroy the Titan.

Both groups of researchers know that their repsective Yggdrasils could go horribly wrong. The EOU ones learn it from simulated projections, and we're never told how exactly the EO4 ones find out, I think.

If you wanted, you could construct your own timeline and theories, but that wiki shit is just that. Someone going out of the way to put their own hypotheses and headcanons on the page.

That's a feature in the N3DS, though I'm pretty sure for older models you have to take out the card and put it back in, which is extremely annoying to do with an N3DS so that's probably the reason they added that feature.

What it does is just puts the N3DS in a special state while setting up a network drive to transfer files to/from. Other than 3DS files having horribly labeled folders, it's pretty easy to work with.

Again, if you're not using an N3DS, you can just take out the card and put it in your computer's SD card slot, provided it has one. Most modern laptops have that kind of slot, usually in the front, though if you've been using the same PC for 10+ years, you might have add one of those yourself.
