Considering his scripts are both poorly written and have intenional frame dropping loops in place the only fix is to throw it the fuck out. Let the mission makers know they're use the sqf equivalent of a virus.. Hell it spits out errors every ops if you have showscripterrors on.
It's good more people are waking up to it. #1 reason our ops have shit frames is because of comfy's work if you cna call it that. When I played with broma there ops are way smoother.

Murshun won't be taking any more players actuually, our regular ops are at roughly 40-60 people and we really just don't have enough room in the server. We're considering having a regular/alternate member system similar to shacktac so newbies can queue up for missions when regular members can't log on, but we haven't hammered out a system yet.

Radios noted and Adv. med supplies noted, were oversights. Non-existent APCs are very peculiar and I don't know if I can fix that. Need someone who's got a3g shit downloaded to look into that. Anything else?
How many people is it meant for? We completed it and only got 27 kills total. It was pretty boring for a lot of us, and we lost a bunch of people before contact due to weird shit.
Also the fog is pretty lame from a player's standpoint, but if that's your vision for the mission then whatever.
Intended playercount is 29, and even then that might be a bit much. I'm not sure how to balance this shit for more since it's sorta linear. I'll look into upping the hostile count or adding some more side objectives, but I didn't want it to be too crazy due to the gear. That said, in TMTM we have the admins to mess around with zeus and the debug console, so that usually spices shit up a bit. Our resident russian overlord is a big MGS fan, and he's been scripting all kinds of crazy events like fultons and visits from the skulls unit.
The fog is there because of the shitty gear and for performance. The HKs don't mount optics. The simulation manager is set to cache AI at 800 meters, and that's also the max viewdistance. It's also sorta to mask the lack of a lot of actual hostiles in the big towns. I'll look into changing that stuff too.

Ditch the sling loading gimmick or just attach a win condition to having picked it up, otherwise it just ends with people sitting in a chopper for several minutes waiting for the mission to end after they already won.
Surgical kits or bananas with the script to fix that retarded "you can't run anymore" shit.

I'm having an issue downloading the All in Terain ARMA mod, the armaholic site is broken and I only get like half way before the DL fails
A3launcher also fails the download which is annoying as fuck and I hear that there was a hotfix for the mod and the hotfix is included on the armaholic and I can't find a secondary source

Sonix, I appreciate your attempts at troubleshooting, but you really need to look into the M113s.
Recon team drove up an entire fucking mountain in our slow M113, took engagement, and the crew turned in.
Suddenly our driver died instantly and the rest of the crew and passengers became stuck in the vehicle without any chance to escape.
The M113 left at base also became unusable to the point where we could no longer actually remove ammunition from it.
We don't need to be using partially broken slow battle taxis from the 1960s, please.
Use something that a real PMC might choose, like a fucking MRAP or slavshit surplus.

hey guys don't be mean, comfys scripts actually worked great but after several ARMA updates, they don't really work they way they're supposed to anymore, and since comfy is dead, he can't exactly go back and fix them to stay updated with the patches.

straight north from the start is a viable strategy, but I'll look into it. Can probably create some sort of forced objective like grabbing a fuel truck.

All EI just have a skill of 50%, should be affected by server settings and server-side mods. I'll run through it and see what I can do about it.

Yeah, shilkas were a mistake. TMTM doesn't have RDS statics yet, else they'd been ZU-23s or igla pods. I'll replace them with AA soldiers for now.
I think the m113s are bugged in a3g anyway, so I'll just replace them. The whole idea was that they're worthless tin cans that don't even stop 7.62, but better armored than a ural.
Thing is, I wanted to use non-slavshit vehicles to easily differentiate from all the hostile slavshit vehicles. I'll think it through a bit, maybe download the a3g junk to see if there's a better alternative.
Also replacing 'PMC' with 'Guerilla', possibly.

All bad, being completely honest here. I've honestly seen no improvement from you, especially in the area of stability. Usually has bugs, gamebreaking ones at that like end triggers not working for example and it takes you multiple updates to fix simple bugs. You need to work on your scripting and your game design.
Agreed on all but the last one -- apart from one or two small oversights, it actually works and runs pretty well. Apart from the disappearing APCs anyway. Plascerb and evawombat were (are) absolute clusterfucks, and grey area was just a boring mission.
But yeah, you guys won't be playing any missions by me any time soon. Going to look into a lot of shit and see if I can balance shit out, and not rush out a patch.

Clusterfucks or the complete lack thereof as seen in 113 are game design problems. So is the lack of difficulty. Serverside AI mods don't completely override what their setSkill is. It's still in effect.

no AT slots with guided AT rockets even though there's CAS and armoured assets
no rearm script
no parameters to make it daytime
military hardware that's more than 10 years old
it's gg restart the op.

we always had a few stable mission at most moments to fall back on when shitty missions failed to impress. now we have no mission to fall back on. just shit on shit. we used to have mission makers that made a good mission at least half the time. but when you see a mission by oldblivion, kernikov or sonix for example you know you're not going to have fun unless you join a squad to cool people to hang with, but the mission itself will still suck.

Well that's why you don't just put a Zeus slot in the mission, but link it to LoggedAdmin, so whoever's got the server admin password also has Zeus. You know, people you can respect and trust. People who've been around for a long time and thus know how to spice up missions without making it overbearing or unfair for the players.

No, that's not how you do it. You toss zeus in a normal mission to have someone in the game that can actively balance the challenge level by adding or removing friendly and/or enemy assets. And if that person is actually somewhat competent at arma scripting shit, they could even do little special events or extra objectives.

There were no anti-armor assets in the mission at all besides enemies that could very easily not be there or bug out, and four armored vehicles that HAD to be destroyed, with three others that were blocking the way to them.

Two mags of 5.45 into this general area are enough to destroy the fuel tank of a BTR-80.
If you're trying it out yourself make sure you disable extended armor, as per standard with RHS garbage. :^)
BTR-70 is a piece of shit with elevated fuel tank, still gets penetrated from by 6.5mm or higher, I assume 5.45 needs to hit it from a higher angle.
