It's fake dynamic. It's dynamic in that you can run out of items to buy but it's not dynamic in that they magically restock themselves after enough time. Prices for goods vary but not in a real supply/demand sort of way, more like completely random. It's a weird, nonsensical economy.

gimballed beams (C3) and autocannons (2F) thus far.

Beams on the large hardpoints, autos on the mediums. I know that my current weapons are lacking, but I'm saving up for better ones.

My logic is that I use the big beams to take out shields, the cannons to keep plinking and something bigger beneath for hull damage.

1:33 vs 36 seconds to fill. So you will sit at a star for a bit longer than in the asp where you can just fill it when you buzz by it.

But no, really. You can fight interdiction. If you can see yourself losing the interdiction tug-of-war, zero your throttle. It'll submit you to the interdiction, which lets you jump out far, far faster. If you do get interdicted and submit, select a different star system to jump to. You need to find a good trade route. find a high tech world and extraction world close to each other. Make sure their population is high.

Buy Palladium (Gold is good too) at the extraction station and sell it in the high tech. Buy consumer tech, progenitor cells or performance enhancers in the high tech world and sell it in the extraction.

Whats a good weapon setup for the python?

Right now i'm running 3 large pulse lasers and 2 medium multicannons, and i feel that its not too effective against larger ships. I tried just normal cannons and the projectiles are just way too slow.
