She clearly doesn't hold any sort of resentment towards Frisk and understands why he might want to leave. I don't know, reconciling with this person, making it less awkward and then interacting normally throughout the game makes the decision for you to live with her at the end of the game make way more sense. As it is it makes no fucking sense at all, you have literally no reason to want to live with Toriel at the end of the game because you barely even know this person. If you needed a place to stay any other character in Undertale would make more sense, the only reason it's Toriel is because "she's a mom".

The thing about Undertale though is that it relies on having its jokes and plot points unspoiled so you're able to properly connect with the characters. If someone is spoiling everything along the way the guy playing it is just going to go "this game sucks".

That being said, though, the only reason people even watch Game Grumps or any person LPing or streaming a game is because they're using it as substitute for playing the game with a real friend. Look at that screencap of that youtube comment by the Fat Kid on a Pewdiepie video where he says "brb Pewdiepie going to do my chores" and then "ok I'm back" a little bit later. It's an extremely sad example of my point.

You certainly don't watch something like Game Grumps for a skillful playthrough of a game since Danny Sexbang doesn't even play video games and Arin Hanson is just flat out awful at anything that he didn't play when he was a little boy.
