I fucking typed this out only to find out that there was a new thread.

House of Devil's Kell was killed via headbutt by our one true saviour, Saint-14. Their Archon was killed in mission 2 by us, and you all know what happened to Sepiks Prime.

House of Exile has no Kell, Archon or Prime so they are a non-threat. Their only goal is to survive.

House of Winter's Kell was Draksis and he's been killed by us every 10 minutes since TTK. Their prime servivor, Simiks Prime has been destroyed since before the events of vanilla Destiny. They had no choice but to follow the Wolves.

As for House of Wolves, you all know what happened to Skolas. Their second prime servitor, Kaliks Prime has been lost and is rumoured to be hiding among the moons of Jupiter. After the events of HoW, the Wolves found their original prime, Orbiks Prime on Mars, which again proceeded to get BTFO'd by us.

House of Stone, Rain and Scar were killed off in the event known by the Eliksni as "The Whirlwind". This is probably when Oryx arrived to their planet as the Traveller was doing his thing, causing the Traveller to flee and abandon them, leading to the end of their golden age.

All that's left is in our system is House Kings. The Devils/Winter/Wolves would have no choice by to be assimilated into their ranks. They are likely the most powerful house and would be a focus for an upcoming DLC. This actually makes me very happy because the Fallen are my favourite race lore wise and design wise, and House of Kings are my favourite house.

All we've ever seen of the Kings are three Barons, one actually doing shit and the other two were rumored to be assassins (I incorrectly said they were leadership last thread). The Kings are the shrewdest of the Fallen, having been the ones to manipulate the other Houses into the Battle of the Twilight Gap. Given their secretiveness, something bigger than Oryx would have to come along before their Kell would get his hands dirty with us.

Also, Variks is using the Crows to search for the Kell of Kells, since he seems to believe that there is one after all. He mentioned that he had spies amongst the Kings, so we'll see where that goes. I just wanna play as a Vandal, damn it. And to think, Halo 2 we got to play as an alium, and everyone was pissy about it back then. Now it's all I want.

Rebuilt, not found. This is distinct from what they did with Kaliks Reborn, however, in that that was an amalgamation of lesser Servitors in the Image of Kaliks Prime, whereas iirc they straight up found Orbiks and fixed it. And I thought Kaliks was confirmed dead, but I'm not 100% sure on that

Probably not. The text of Bane of Chelchis seems to say that Oryx found Stone AFTER the Whirlwind. And the Variks PoV Grimoire suggests that Scar and Rain existed after the Whirlwind, backed up by the existence of Rain's prophecy.

Other than that, though I think the Kings are the only currently organized Fallen entity in the system, I wouldn't discount the others just yet. Less than half of Winter was willing to join Skolas, even with their leadership dead or missing. Devils are already de facto under their control, but they have a reputation for resourcefulness. Wolves I think are more likely to assimilate into Judgement rather than Kings, if only due to proximity. And there are still undoubtedly Fallen lurking beyond the Jovians. I'm imagining partially demented and insane Fallen living on the edge of the Kuiper Belt happily raiding and pillaging whatever Dark horrors lurk near the Heliopause, but that's only fanfic.

Are Machineguns underpowered? I just picked one up that seemed pretty good, stability and range out the wazoo.
Then I used it. It did 620 on a boss with crits, but my auto rifle does 450 on a boss with crits.

Also why are there so many perks that say they do one thing, i.e. counterbalance and its increase to stability, when it doesn't translate to anything in the status bars of the weapon? The raid's auto rifle has high stability but it doesn't feel like that, same for apple of discord.

Basically how the fuck can I tell a weapon is actually good when some vague wording on perks is more important than the meaningless status bars? This system is too confusing.

It's less cancerous though. It doesn't have Clown Cartridge or Tripod (TOP KEK!) and can only hold 2 rockets per heavy ammo pickup in PvP, even with increased rocket ammo boots.

I don't think Rangefinder Conspiracy Theory-D will be as cancerous as Shot Package Matador 64. Last time I checked, Rangefinder only increased the effective range by 6%, and that was before patch 2.0.

Sunsinger utility is entirely from self-res. The reduced cooldown itself feels like a poor man's super now that Sunbreaker titans essentially do the same thing except they throw rockets instead of grenades, though it's still not a bad subclass. The flameshield option for the melee is arguably still the best melee in the game. Overall they're really strong, but it comes at the expense of having anything really exciting.
