Is determination explained ever? Why does it allow time manipulation? If a human's soul has so much determination, why did it take until Frisk dropped in for it to actually change things? Human souls run on determination, monster souls run on empathy. The reason why his personality became Flowey's was because he lost his empathy since he had no soul. He doesn't need extra determination to go back to being Asriel, he needs his empathy back and thus a monster soul.

I personally don't have a problem with indy games being frame locked because they're indy games and have less resources to work with. It's when big-name games are frame locked and under 60, and when consoles can't handle 1080p/60fps without having a stroke that it's annoying because they have the resources to not be fucking retarded.

Which is probably true. They are literally souls and magic that manifest bodies. When they die, they are sprinkled all over the place.
That much much soulstuff and magicstuff being spread around at a constant rate is probably the source of what magic humans used to be able to use.
