10/10 characters

3/10 dungeons (I just nearly spent 2 hours in that stupid ass house. They're insufferably long)

My problem with dungeons are that I generally have a bad sense of orientation. As they are absolutely huge, they're still interesting and fun to go through them, but I can't deal with all of this and literally tons of random encounters. Then got lucky with Python when it used Megido two times because of the dual shadow ability, which killed his other demon, and then I had Fumi finish him off.

What games feature large dungeons and also have good difficulty that requires strategy beyond "level up more"?

I know in general the series is considered difficult but my only two necessities are requiring tactics and planning for battles (even if it's just for bosses it's fine) and are completely turn based, since I don't have a controller to use. Just touchscreen controls.

Well compared to SJ, how is Demikids in terms of map? Are we talking "reasonably complex compared to normal games" or "has 4-5 side rooms per map"?

In terms of trying to 100% the game, beyond collecting every demon is there anything else to do? Not including grinding to max level/stats

Why isn't there a private server of Imagine? Why isn't there an English patch? Why did they take down the English servers? It's now a MegaTen that will soon be completely inaccessible. It already is for us, surely the Jap servers will go down in a few years.
I can't figure out what to do in the game, or even how the mechanics work
