In Wii's case, they were barely getting multiplats and instead getting third party exclusives. In Wii U's case it was just a bunch of last gen ports and nothing else. Wolfenstein 2 isn't exactly an old game, or some obscure third party exclusive.

Optimiazation. One of the reasons why these games can work on the Switch is Vulkan. ID Tech 6 is compatible for Vulkan and the Switch's API is Vulkan.
Not every games' engine is Vulkan compatible

Also, most engines aren't as scalable as the ID tech engine because most devs are just incompetent.

Wolfenstein is single player only in the first place, Doom is also pretty much acclaimed for its single player with the multiplayer mostly just being kinda there.

The other two shooters of note that aren't Splatton, which are Payday 2 and Morphies Law are mostly multiplayer focused too.

I played DOOM once on PC and it has no replaybilty. It was worth the sale price I bought it for but that's it
I will play Wolfenstein on launch day on PC and
