Played it on mobile. Fast and fun for a moba, and would control perfectly on a console. It's just surprising that Tencent is betting on the Switch, of all things, instead of going for that global mobile release.

This is the most confusing thing they announced. I get having a moba game on your console but its by tencent in leagues engine and it doesn't use League characters? They have so many good characters I'd love to play and yet they've went for generic mobile trash?

There's no way it's written in "League's Engine", because League doesn't have an engine. It's a bunch of spaghetti code that barely compiles. They still find bugs caused by entities being coded as minions. Riot games devs make Bethesda devs look the patron saints of software design.

This is literally a port of a mobile game called Honor of Kings (王者荣耀). They released it in the US as Arena of Valor with slightly different heroes adapted for Western audiences, but some like Lu Bu and Diaochan are the same. Other heroes from the Chinese one are Marco Polo who's ultimate is that of Reaper from Overwatch. I lived in China for the past 5 years and played this shit with my wife.
