Yeah that's my point, AAA studios are dipping their toes in but they're not ready to jump in quite yet. If the Switch is established and 3rd party titles sell well (like Skyrim), you'll see downgraded titles. Don't expect to see the major AAA games though, like FFXV (unless you want that crappy mobile version) or Red Dead Redemption 2 as they're built from the ground up for "next gen" hardware. It's incredibly difficult to port those titles while looking good, you get rid of all the grass and the game suddenly looks like ass, so instead you work on simpler grass in lower density but that's not enough, you have to reduce the LoD, more and more optimization goes into it, the faces have to be simplified or remodeled, every piece of clothing has to have its textures compressed, 3D assets have to simplified and so on. Pic related. It doesn't have to sell as much as the PS4/Xbox/PC versions to be worth it, it has to sell more.
