In Doomguy's universe, Space Marines might go down easily. He might be equal in terms of might to a Space Marine, in fact.

In 40k, Doomguy might be nothing more than sly marbo

There will never be a concrete answer, because we do not know what the capabilities of the respective parties' armour and weapons is against each other, and there is no way of figuring it out for sure.

We do not know how effective a UAC rocket launcher will be against Space Marine armour or how advanced UAC technology is relative to Imperium technology, and we do not know how much "damage" to his health points Doomguy would take if he was hit by a chainsword or bolter, for example.

Therefore, we cannot reach a conclusion which is stronger. The thread will just devolve into shitposting and guesswork.

Doom Guy and if were talking about Doom Slayer even more so.
Space Marines are badass in their own right but DG is capable of accomplishing similar physical traits as an Astartes without the benefit of genetic modifications or power armor.
The largest gap between the two is the fact that DG is completely immune to the effects of the demonic realm "if" it works anywhere near the same as the Warp in 40k.
DG/DS is closer to a Adeptus Custode on the lower end if the spectrum and a full blown Primarch when hopped up on Berzerker packs.

The latest incarnation survived a self imposed eternity fighting through hell. And he absorbs souls now. He'd probably find a way into the warp and begin his own bloody crusade to slay everything.
