I'm a damn idort and even play fucking Frontier and MHO, segmented maps were a core part of MH and with their removal, we get shit like God Eater where monsters shove you into corridors and corners where you're not meant to be fighting and hitlock you to death, especially with multi-monster quests and there being 3 or more monsters on the map at once to fight. with non-segmented maps, every single area can be an arena made for fighting with no fluff other than those tiny shit loading zones, every area can be a different part of a map's ecosystem potentially thousands of feet apart ala ruined ridge with the tower climb, which will be impossible with the new map system.

me and my friends (about 10 people) are actively boycotting this game. one of them is an assistant manager at gamestop and he's encouraging all of his customers to pass on monster hunter world. no matter happens, we need to hurt capcom's in the wallet and make sure they know it is unacceptable to be shitting on nintendo this way. they could easily port it to switch if square enix can do it they have no excuse

That's something that's done by bamco but that won't ever be something that stains monster hunter. Not a Hero for RE7, which is causing endless time and money, is still being released for free. Meanwhile SFV for all it's faults has made every character obtainable with in game currency.
