Skyrim with some mods is comfy af
The winter setting is just cozy
With the frostfall mod, fireplaces get even mechanically useful and 100% more comfy

I also think that A Night In The Woods is just comfy as hell, probably due to the palette and overall easygoing feel to it

It might be a guilty pleasure but I really enjoyed the setting as I've never played anything close. The gunplay is tight if a little easy

For all its faults, I feel that ACIII had the best setting.
Are there any games with the same setting (american wildlands in the winter)?
I also loved the last snow mission in RDR.

I also think that AC Syndicate gets the cozy London atmosphere just right.

It's a personal story and it's realistic.
If you think of it this way the ending is poignant.
I loved it. But there's not much "game" to it.
It's a walking simulator with a bit of gameplay.
Akin to a telltale game, but better, imho
It has some of the best dialogue I ever seen in a game and the voice acting is fantástic
Just give it a chance and refund it if you don't dig it

Early Lego video games are also god tier comfy.
Even the online ones, such as Lego Backlot or the RC one!

The Lego Island games were so much fun.

Just started collecting physical copies of some of my favorite games as well as games I've never played before just so I could do some comfy fall gaming.

Ordered a custom GBA SP and Harvest Moon Friends of mineral town as well as Mother 3 translated cart (never played it before)

I also picked up Grandia, Suikoden, SaGa Frontier and Final Fantasy Tactics, all of which I've never played before.

Also got Animal Crossing GC.
