I killed Dancer on my first go try. Nameless on my third. I don't get why people think she's hard. I got cucked harder by Sulyvahn than any other boss in DS3.

Why do you have to deal in these absolutes?

I admit I had a ton of problems with her the first time I fought her, along with pretty much every boss I fought for the first time.

But on every subsequent playthrough I played more aggressively and was surprised to beat her so easily every time, while nameless king still provided me with a challenge. But I'm sure it's different for every one, you can't expect every one to have the same experience.

His attacks are fast but they're easy to dodge and then his short rests are easy to hit him.

Then when he does lightning slams and you roll you have a 5 sec time to attack and spams this a lot in later phases.

Every enemy / boss in these games has limited stamina, just like the player. There is always at least a little bit of a cooldown where they stand around and refill their stamina after they do a combo. It refills fast though, just like with the player

The secret is, everyone thinks "oh dakka sous 3 is about le bloodborne no shield run for the best" and then get hit twice and die. She has very fast startup in phase 2 but has predictable timing during her wombo combos, so being able to block the first hit and roll out of the rest will let you cheat death many times. Hug her ass in first phase, if you're a massive pussy then in second phase she's wide open after the dark AoE and the upwards cross chop. Lame her out, block her shit, all you need is a +2 raw broadsword and stone parma.

Nameless King is a motherfucker. First phase is easy. You can cheese the 2nd phase with a crossbow but it's still pretty hard.

He literally cannot touch you as long as you don't rollspam like a noob. But you should know better than that by the time you get to this boss, even if this is your first DS game.
Also, yeah, he's shit at range, and often prone to just slowly walking towards you doing absolutely nothing. And his gap closers all have really long windups.

Everyone has a different play style. So the difficulty changes for person, but nameless king is objectively the hardest boss.

They do run out of stamina naturally too, they just appear to have very fast stamina regen. So slowing it down or outright stopping it for a time clearly shows the bosses are also subject to the stamina system.

Nameless king is harder because he actually has a varied moveset and has delayed hits. He's way harder than Dancer, Sully, etc. This is not counting DLC obviously

I first time I fought Gael was on NG+2 and I seriously thought it was impossible. But I recently went back and fought him on NG and I was shocked at my own ability to beat him. First attempt got him down to 10% and beat him on my second. While his health pool is massive, it's less apparent if you can get some good hits in and stagger him.

He has horizontal swing, vertical swing and a poke. That's about it.
All of his other attacks, like jumps, impales and wind waves aren't used in a combo and have such obvious and long tells I don't even count them as actual attacks. They're just there to break up the pace of the fight, because otherwise the player would be bored to death before they killed the boss.

The dancer is a great boss fight because her fight is like a dance. The general idea is to out pace her, if you get caught in her tempo she can easily wreck your shit harder then most other bosses and it can be hard to break out of it due to a number of subtle trappings in her fight.

However if you can break out of the flow and just stay one step ahead of her, the fight is probably one of the easier ones in the game.

It was patches, he stole the onion knights armor. Patches should be back at firelink selling shit, which you can buy the onion knights armor back. The onion knight is at the bottom of a well and if you give him the armor back you can continue his quest line.

Dancer just fucked me up with the grab attack that could kill me in one hit from full hp. And the hitbox on that thing was bigger than it looked.

Pointiff Sulyvhan took me almost 15 tries, while Nameless King took me 3, Dancer 5, and Champ 1. I think it depends on your playstyle.

The shield tactic are for loser complaining the boss is too hard. Many bosses in the game become much easier if you're willing to use a shield at least half of the time and if you're finding the game too hard then go use a shield BEFORE whinging about how hard the game is due to your artificial restriction you placed on yourself.

I remember I was borrowing my buddy's Xbone and was on Sully. He literally did NOTHING but his 6 hit combo the 10+ times I tried to play him.

I'm now living with my buddy and using his ps4 to play it, and the sully in this version has done it once in about 6 playthrough. I breeze through him

If you're talking about Dragonslayer Armour, you can summon for him, and he's probably the most straight up fight in the game. He has like 2 variations of his charging attack where he draws the axe along the ground, he has one where he does a slamming shock wave and another one of those when he stands up after being staggered. Other than that he has like 2 attacks with either axe or shield. You got this, anon, I believe in you. Just remember that that isn't Ornstein, an enchanted armour.

The only thing that fucked me up vs Nameless King is when his wyvern(?) does the scorched earth flamethrower attack from above. Honestly shields make the game harder for me. It takes much more stam to block as opposed to just rolling through and counter attacking. This is especially true in DaS 3 with how many multi hit moves bosses tend to have.
