this gen has just started. it had fuck all before last year and now the real competition is ramping up and sony have acknowledged that by releasing the pro. there's a good 3 years left in the gen for the switch and xbox one x (plus whatever MS have been doing recently with the hiring of devs stuff) to lay down a marker. the 7th gen didn't start for the ps3 till 2011 which was about 4 years after launch.

I don't think forza comes out for like a month after it's launch, there's no retrofitting of games that they've marketed enough for me to know about them, and then there's crackdown getting delayed again, basically just confirming it's either getting cancelled or shoved under some rug somewhere.

I only pirate on PC except when I can buy physical copies that don't require Steam or GOG like TW3 and GTA5 did and how Cyberpunk 2077 will probably be.
I have a PS4 for Jap games and physical copies, since even if there are ports to PC for some Japanese games, they always end up digitally only on Steam, but if they do end up porting it digitally only I don't buy it and pirate it out of principle.
