Demon's Souls is Dark Souls beta. Bloodborne is fast souls with no shields and relatively little magic. I wouldn't argue it isn't a souls game, but Bloodborne is the least "souls" of them all. DeS oozes unrefinement, which DaS kind of fixes, DaS2 fixes in different ways, and DaS3 pretty much hones, even to its detriment in places.

Nope. It's clearly a spear-point type tip and whilst tricked you punch with it effectively thrusting the speartip but it doesn't actually do thrust damage on those attacks, only a select few (I think the untricked backstep attack and one other). I also just assumed those thrusting punches did thrust damage, but I found out it wasn't the case only after farming thrust gems for it.
