Knowing that you couldn't win and that you were meant to hold out as long as possible made it intense. The music certainly amplified the necessity for survival.
If not a good boss fight, then most certainly a good boss experience.

His fight was kinda shit, it only becomes fun when you break all the shields and he goes in pincer mode but even that mode doesn't last long since he's most likely at 50% when the shields break and the fight ends at 80%. They should've really made him fucking invincible as long as his shields were up.
