The kind of lethal/nonlethal system many "stealth" games go for these days are dumb and only shoehorn you into using a limited arsenal. Generally it means that the nonlethal (which is usually the "good" path) has like 2-3 weapons tops like a stun gun/sleep dart and a choke, while the lethal path has tons of weapons and options.
