It's good fun, despite it still being a bit average it's a huge improvement over the first game. And they utterly gutted PvP so you'll not really lose anything by not playing, this game's main attraction is coop anyway.

Crucible (PVP) is so undershadowed by everything else in the game. It takes FOREVER to get into a match because everyone is playing PVE

Also the rewards for playing Crucible now are utter shit. In destiny 1 you at least got SOMETHING at the end of the match. Destiny 2 you get nothing.
