Voice chat would be overpowered and make many killer perks and strategies useless. There's already problems with many killers hating going up against a full survive-with-friends group who are using com.

However, proximity voice come could be a thing if the survivors are very close to each other. But it should be used carefully because the killer can obviously hear it too. Imagine the trolling a survivor could do by playing silly music just to piss off the Killer.

Survivor perks being too powerful so that they are game changing.

Self care, means you don't need to bring any medkits. You can heal and get hit indefinitely. 99 out of 100 survivors have this. It's really a must have.

I hate Borrowed Time and Decisive Strike.

Also, flashlights that can blind in 0,5 seconds. It happens every time I get into an animation where I can't look away, such as breaking a pallet or picking up a survivor.

While OP is shit posting, I will say that the console roll out was pretty shitty. But I would say it was 70% xbone and ps4 and 30% devs. It's all fixed now though, but was randomly unplayable some days according to my friends at work.

These same survivors get fucking salty and pissed though if you manage to outsmart and kill them.

I can't believe that bodyblocking is still a thing, a strategy. The survivors are supposed to fear the killer, not use their own bodies to block his path. He should decide where to go, and the others can't do much.

One mistake with Friday 13th was its price. 36 dollars compared to DBD's 20. DBD has been around a lot longer and put up quite a lot of new maps, perks, survivors, killers, whereas Friday 13 is still relatively new and still working on bug fixing.

Also, DBD has been on several sales on Steam. Humble Bundle sold it for like 10 dollars I think, which partially explains all the new players.

It's not fun to play killer at high ranks unless you're masochistic. Survivors can drag out a chase for ages while every other survivor polishes off generators at hyper speed due to how retard-proof easy the QTEs are. Survivors have outlandish perks that tip the game heavily in their favor which can then all be loaded onto one autistically customized-for-camo survivor for maximum efficiency. Add onto the fact that lots of survivor teams use discord or VOIP to communicate outside the game and it's just a shit sandwich for killers to choke on all around. I haven't played in months but I have no doubt that since then the frogs have only made it easier to delete killers from the game.

Not only that, but early game for survivors is pure hell because you DON'T have the ridiculous perks yet and most people who are still dumb enough to play killer are going to know how to stomp your ass into the ground before you've gotten with a mile of your first generator. It's this hellish merry-go-round where the only solution is to play high rank survivor matches with your friends and smurfing as a low ranked killer just to squeeze the most fun out of the game with the least frustration.

Her hatchets are great for punishing people using pallets or windows. If you know they're about to do one of those actions you can charge a hatchet and when they do it you basically get a free hit. Most of her addons also do things like cause exhaustion for x amount of time after hit by one, blocking things like sprint burst

A game where the killer wins is a game where four people start crying to the devs about how OP killers are.

It's at the point where a half decent survivor is no longer afraid if being seen or chased by the killer because they have so many tools that let them get away in the end.

Its not a horror game if the killer isn't a threat.

Got to rank 1 killer twice around The Shape's release.

Stop playing around that time because the devs refused to fix infinite juke spots. After a while it became a grind like any other online game where you eventually had to grind every new killer that came out regardless if you enjoyed the play style because certain perks would be broken on other killers.

Also while there is skill involved most of time you are either amazing or not because you have max rank of X perk or not lucky enough to get it.

Finally when you get down to it killer gameplay is basically Pallet breaking-the game.

Steam says I've put 24 hours into it when I got it from Humble Bundle, so I'm no expect but there's a few things that have started to crop up as I've been playing for longer. I could do a list of things what I find unbalanced, but what I'm seeing as a major problem (which I think is causing many of the other problems), is that the devs seem to be trying to force Survivors to not be stealthy. I feel the game should be a giant hide and seek, but the survivors get so many perks that encourage just gunning it at both the generators AND the Killer, like you shouldn't give a shit about being spotted. Even more so that the devs even said the Doctor is there so survivors can't be stealthy at all. Why? Why, are the devs so against survivors going the stealth route? So much so that being stealthy is useless in retrospect?

This dumbass design seems to be bleeding into the overpowered perks. I had more fun in the game at the start when perks weren't involved, as both the Survivor and the Killer. The more perks you get, the less fun and more bullshit the game becomes.

F13th seems to be a lot more relaxed, while DBD seems to attract the tryhards of the genre.

I've only got an hour or so of gameplay in DBD though, so I've not experienced any of the shitfest that apparently makes up the community, but then again, I have nobody to play it with so I have no real motivation.

F13's matches have more for you to do, but there's only one killer with different variations and the grind/perk builds aren't as in-depth. It's a much more casual game that knows it is casual.
