Is there any reason to buy games?

I liked it and I enjoy supporting games I like.

I fell for the fat android butt meme and didnt enjoy the game itself at all

automata sold like hotcakes so probably not. Instead use that money to buy Drakengard 3 and all the DLC, the world needs d4

Getting full experience from true ending is impossible on a pirated version and it's easily the best moment in the entire game.

I don't know if I would say it benefited from it, but I don't think it suffer from it either. It works for building up Ending E seeing as you go through the credits in that anyway, but then you get to do it with a new spin on it.
