I tried to get into it recently and it's pretty goddamn discouraging when I'm paying the best cards that I have access to, but the other player is playing cards that are literally just superior in every way (same mana cost, power, and a health but with some amazing special ability). It's really gay when you lose in this game and it just feels like they had more cards and there was no way you could ever win, no matter what deck you made or how you played

That's just how blizz balancing works, ruin old cards so people have to pay more for new ones.

I mean yes, innervate was fucked design from the very beginning, but they were always hampered by having expensive, bursty draw, meaning they could ramp up but then if you could answer couple big turns then they'd run out of steam due to relying on nourish for the majority of their draw abiltiies, and 5mp is never cheap. Or auctioneer if they were playing combo, but auctioneer was always a completely fucked card.

Then they gave druid UI. Draw 5 means infinite stamina, effectively. Combine that with the other effects and it's not even where tempo goes to die like nourish.

But I mean this is blizzard, they made primordial glyph, and if that isn't saying "we don't know how to design a game" I don't know what is.
