Played it for a while then gave up on it. Kinda dead iirc. Any new updates or shit?

not really, playercount is stable around 1-1.5k. some people consider anything outside steams 100 top played games dead

Bought it in early development since I was a huge Project Reality fan, but waiting until its near finished before playing it properly. There's already enough in there for a new player to enjoy though. Development is moving fast judging by the progress reports, with tanks well on their way to being rolled out.

ArmA 3 is superior in every way.

There are always severs to play on. I don´t know how to put it but you have to be patient in this game. It´s definetely not a cod or battlefield. It can even happen, that you don´t encounter anyone.

Your squad might be defending a hub or something and you fight from really far away most of the time not even able to see someone. But if you attack the flags, you will see enemies and have fire fights.

This game can be very intense but sometimes also be very slow. I can defientely say, that this is the most realistic war game I have ever played. It would be more fun if you could play with like 100-150 people.

I like the game, I just find the maps a bit lacking at the moment. I prefer urban/city maps over big open fields or mountains.

Also I really feel the game needs tracked vehicles and transport helis to shine.

Fun, but none of my friends want to play it, and I don't play multiplayer games without my friends anymore because I can't have fun playing alone.

I've got 300 hours on it. I'm giving it a break until alpha 10 drops.

Maybe not unlock progression but I feel a medal system could be cool. Just for "bragging" right or personal goals.
