Halo 5 did some cool stuff, but adding cases made it a pay to win game and it's bullshit. with 2-4 it was just how good you were at the game and i know some games do that now (CS, Overwatch) but those games just don't have the same kind of tactical feel like alot of older fps had.

I gave it a chance. It was fun for a while, but soon enough the nostalgia wore off and I just felt like I was playing the slowest arena shooter in the world. The FPS limit is also an issue in an FPS.

I still remember the early days where people were trying to bruteforce into the actual game and all the new updates making it playable, shit I remember needing to use shit like Evolve or Hamachi to actually play with friends.

I'm literally playing Reach right now. Has about 4kish players. Halo 3 will be alive once 343i gives it BC.

I don't think Halo's floaty movement lends itself well to m&kb controls. Hitting slow moving targets is incredibly easy and the ttk becomes drastically lower than it would be on consoles, pretty much removing one of Halo's selling points.

I've played a good bit of M+KB halo and while what you say is correct the game is still fun. Not everyone has great aim, and I think the tradeoff of other people aiming better is worth yourself having the control scheme that suits you. The TTK is still slow compared to other games, you just can't count on a fresh respawn running out of ammo before they kill you anymore.

It was always too laggy for me, I've never enjoyed Halo on PC because Bungie had dedicated servers on Xbox Live.

Halo still has potential to exploit, plus has some near infinite fun that is bringed by forge and customs with an already great matchmaking.
17 years later and we are still stuck with 16 players bullshit for example, when are we gonna be able to play Halo 3 style infection with 32 players or more? Or in more massive maps, better scripting, more detailed items, custom textures and models.
Halo still got a long life ahead, at the right hands.
