Well I grew up with it and yeah I'm a bit cringy myself but I didn't end up doing gay shit like making an OC or fan fiction. I did run like him when I was like 6 and I did fap to some Female characters when around puberty. I still listen to the soundtracks and buy the games after some reviews.

Furry characters and way more character development than Mario. Sooooo many female characters. And the fact that there's tv shows and comics that'll attract comic book weirdos and DvD collectionists of cartoons.
