I honestly don't even understand why people are playing this game after the shit the pulled with the Taken King. making that expansion mandatory to purchase to continue playing the game you already spent 60 dollars on. Don't support this bullshit game

Played through D1 by myself and started playing through D2 now by myself. I''m enjoying it.

Destiny is a pretty friendly game when it comes to pick-up groups. If you know the strikes/raids and can occasionally rein people in and call the shots you can play just fine with strangers. I played the first game since it came out and in those three years I never raided with the same people twice.
