I used to be that kid that picked Toad.

Didn't drive Yoshi or Peach much because Toad was faster AND had better trolling value, and didn't drive Mario much because Luigi was the same thing but sounded better and was my favorite color. If they'd given DK's kart to Bowser I'd have picked Bowser exclusively forever.

uhhh no.. I played Mario Kart 64 extensively and just realized that Toad and Yoshi were the best due to their acceleration and, turns out, I was RIGHT and they are used in speedruns. Toad and Yoshi are the tryhard picks.

What I didn't realize though till watching those speedruns was that Peach has the same speed as them. Peach, Toad, and Yoshi are all in the same class. I just never picked Peach because I'm not a fag.
