You would think that, for the first couple hours of play.

But no. It turns out that everything she does in the name of evil or just flippant disregard (her own ideals) is justified later by having the church be evil.Would have been absolutely amazing had she actually turned out to be the villian though, and not have everything she did painted as right by details you find out later.
