Dishonored: Death of the Outsider

There's still some fun stuff hidden in the background. Pandyssia, the Abbey of the Everyman, Tyvia. It's just the main plot that's suffered (although it's always been weak)

Dishonored is caught up in its MCs being literal superheroes so its hard to feel like anything is actuall at stake.

They basically need to completely remove themselves from Corvo/Emily and their supporting characters, then go to someone entirely new

I still want my Tyvian Overseer game

I liked dishonoured 2 more than the first.
Interesting levels, more abilities, better enemy variety and more interesting minor antagonists.

I did like the ending of 1 more than 2.

Heh. I didn't really think that they ruined anything in the second game lore-wise. I mean even though the Outsider was just a regular guy before becoming a God, it doesn't really change the face of this universe. We just know now, that there was probably some very ancient civilizations and that some people could do really powerful shit with magic even before the existence of the Outsider.

And as a game I found D2 even more enjoyable than the first one, some levels are really fucking great, and the new powers are all pretty nice.

Though after Billie deals with the Outsider, I like really want some kind of spin-off on the Pandyssian continent.

I wonder if it was worth it. I enjoyed playing as both Corvo and Emily, but the dialogue differences weren't that noticeable. There were quite a few times where they just had both voice actors say the exact same lines, and the story didn't react in any way different based on your character, the order of events was all the same.

Maybe they're better off giving it to a single character now.
