What was her endgame?
>>389845632Betrayal.
She wanted her teachings to continue through you, and your students, and thus finally prove their superiority to the rest of the Galaxy, Jedi and Sith both. Most importantly, she wanted to instil in you the importance of being aware of context and consequence for all that you do, and teach you not to act as a slave to ideology or a code.
In this, regardless of how you play the game, Kreia wins - whether you accept her teachings or not, by the end of the game you have been influenced by them. And through you, the rest of the Galaxy.

To crash the ForceWith no survivors
>>389845632
She was an evil Sith trying to trick you into destroying all her enemies with shades of gray nonsense.
>>389845632
She wanted to kill the Force for its seeming sentience and the countless wars fought to "create balance in the force," often to the rest of the galaxy's expense.
The Exile cutting her/himself off from the force at Malachor V was proof that this was not only possible but that people did not need the Force to live - that killing the Force wouldn't thereby end all life. Moreover, they could become stronger without relying on it, as the player had.
I still don't understand how this shit works when you can put points into force powers from the very beginning though (is it supposed to be that the Exile has an even stronger connection to the force in-game than previously?).
Also not sure why it needed to be the exile when there were several examples of people's connection to the force being severed in the EU canon e.g. Ulic Qel-Droma, Kyle Katarn
For the galaxy to understand that the light can't exist without the dark

Light or Dark, she didn't care.

>is it supposed to be that the Exile has an even stronger connection to the force in-game than previously?
Yes. Who have you been near, even before the game starts?Kreia_.
>Also not sure why it needed to be the Exile when there are several examples of people's connection to the Force being severed in the EU
Part of why Kreia loves the Exile so is because they weren't 'severed' from the Force - they chose to turn away. Consciously or not, they chose to live without it.

Thanks anon.
Follow-up. How does becoming stronger in the force coincide with the theme of becoming stronger without it? The final conversation at the rebuilt Dantooine Jedi Temple pretty much confirms the Exile is getting stronger by virtue of 1) force bonds with companions and 2) Darth Nihilus-level force vampirism.
Even if we were to say Darth Nihilus is an example of what the Exile could become as the "death of the force" left unchecked, the Exile does so with each person killed without even trying to. In fact, it was being cut off from the force that prevented it from ever becoming a problem in the first place until the events of the game.

bringing about a powerful warrior who wouldn;t fall for the shallow ideologies of the jedi nor the sith one who would be prepared to join Revan and fight against the true enemy of the galaxy
>>389845632
To end the force powers entirely.
In the end she always wants people to support themselves and the force is a crutch for both sith and jedi.

Nihilus only ever took, while Exile shares with their companions.its the difference between a parasite and a symbiote. this is represented by how the exile can make nearly every companion force sensitive

>>389849421
...worse than death, because at least a rotting corpse feeds the beasts and insects.
Apathy is Death
Kreia had three goals. Pass on her teachings, for the Jedi to admit they were wrong, and destroy the Sith teachings that would destroy the galaxy.
>>389848065
Nihilus is not an example of the "death of the force", he is an example of complete reliance of it just like Sion. Without the Force or the Jedi to fight they wold die off. Kreia seeks a world without the force, but one that people can LIVE in. The Exile can live life without the force. That is what Kreia admires. Yes, the Exile can "consume" others like Nihilus, but they are not dependent on it like him.
>implying she didn't lean more toward the dark side
>And if you had stayed, you would have changed us. And that, we could not allow.
What did they mean by this?
>>389851719
>What did they mean by this?
That they were weak, and could not face their failing of so long ago.
You can actually ask Kavar about this (and their original judgement) when you run into him earlier in the game, and he'll apologise for how they treated you and say he'll try and do better this time... but he'll also wonder if they're strong enough to. They are not.
>>389845632
her end game, apparently, was just to be contrarian to you no matter which path you chose since I'm under the assumption she's the final boss whether you go a light path, dark path, or even neutral path.
I was an edgelord sith during my KOTOR2 playthrough, I was a jedi moralfag in KOTOR1.
>>389851719
The Exile has a natural aptitude for forming Force Bonds with others, and could influence those he was bonded with. They were afraid his power would change them
>>389851719
They were dogmatic, clutched to their ideals and code like a fucking stuffed animal. Just the possibility that they were "wrong" and everything they knew might've not been perfect was enough to drive them to betrayal, simply out of fear.
The Jedi are truly pathetic.
