>Thinking a second crash is even possible at this point

LOL dream on.
>>
>>389843650
The first "crash" was just people moving to personal computers and arcades and atari whining that it was the end of the world.
Can happen again and again.
>>
>>389843376
The crash of 1983 happened due to saturation of the market by consoles, not games. Too many games has never been and will never be a problem.

Video games are now like every other entertainment medium; once in awhile something good comes out, but 95% of it is utter shit churned out for a quick buck.
>>
>>389843376
That's a dumb comparison to make as the problem with Shovelware was that it was clogging up the shelves of brick and mortar stores. Steam is all digital, so if it has a few million shitty games it really doesn't matter.

It's like crying that Pandora and the music streaming services are fucked because they let it 1000s of hours of lousy music no one wants to hear.

>>389843650

>large markets are unlikely to crash

shut up and go away

>thinking tons of shovelware in a digital market is a bad thing for the industry

It's not, it's quite the opposite. When there's no physical product and no cost to manufacture it, ship it, market it, and sell it in a store, there's no consequence.

The only people who suffer are retarded consumers who don't know what they're looking at, and even their stupidity helps the industry.

Can he save PC gaming?
>>
There won't be a crash but I can see a deflation happening as people get disillusioned and stop playing games altogether thanks to mobile shovelware crap.
>>
>>389844141
Give us Crimson skies 2 designed for PC and then we can talk
>>
>>389843376
there are so many shit cheaply produced movies, when will the film industry crash from oversaturation???
>>
>>389843376
Valve should put the Steam Direct fee at atleast a 1000 dollars to keep Eurotrash and Indians out of Steam. 100 dollars is too low

Windows 10, Steam being run by a fat piece of shit and paid mods is basically what killed PC gaming for me. After switching from the Sega Genesis to PC I was on this platform all my life but a few weeks ago I bought myself a console.

Goodbye PC gaming it is then.

>trade DRM and restrictions for a budget machine with DRM and restrictions

Bravo, retard
>>
>>389844572
Windows 10 is good tho
>>
>>389844664
everything is better than giving this fat fuck another penny
>>
>>389844218
Yeah, this basically. I know people personally who have pretty much abandoned video games because it seems like indie shovelware is all that comes out anymore.
