Most reviewers aren't as stupid as, say, Dean. It's all to grab the attention of idiots that will read an article about a video game. Despite what people will have you think, an article about a video game is literally the least informative thing you can have, next to maybe a pre-rendered trailer. But even that would at least set the mood the game wants to convey better. Raw gameplay footage or a clear list of features is all anyone needs to make a decision, and anything else is just pussy footing around pulling the trigger.

Dark is hard because it is full of "Gotcha" -moments. Once you get the skillset of couple of your favourite weapons and know roughly the route you should take it becomes rather straight forward with occasional death or O&S moment slowing you down.

playing it right now, this is honestly one of the best games to come out this year.
It's not exactly the easiest game and there's a ton of in depth mechanics that aren't used in other games. If you enjoy God Hand you'll enjoy the depth absolver has.

It's actually a really good game, I could see how people wouldn't want to spoil it with the journalism faggotry. Every single review doesn't really touch on why it's actually so good, they ignore the pvp topic and treat it like it's a story based game. They only lightly touch on the combat and don't explain it's god hand make your own combo system but 10 times more in-depth. They see the pacing, but don't understand mid to late game is much different, so it's muh dark souls. It feels like everyone talking about this game has put literally 15 minutes in the tutorial and didn't bother past that.
