Right, I've been trying to think of a game's name for years at this point. Post-apocalyptic setting I'm sure, near top down view but not isometric (it was actual 3d if I remember right), played maybe like an RTS or tactical game can't remember, cover cover had a mushroom cloud and title but was mostly black aside

It's not creepypasta as there's no creepypasta, it's an ARG with an unfinished fake game where some user pretends to receive it from his friend and discovers that the game has some weird shit somehow related to Candace Newmaker death of 2000. There's yet to be anything scary about the game, just strange things

No, affine texture mapping's easy as fuck, there's a flag for it in HLSL. Like, take your standard texture coordinates:

>float2 texCoords;

And add the noperspective interpolation modifier to get affine texture mapping:

There's a similar one in GLSL. Granted, most people never read the shader docs, but it's even on stackoverflow so it's trivial to make a more PS1-like shader than what Petscop uses.
