Just beat Ys VI Ark of Napishtim. Currently playing Ys Memories of Celceta and Persona 5. Planning to start Ys Origin concurrently soon.

Currently playing Trails in the sky the 3rd. Been kinda dragging it desu. First one is still my favorite.
I'm unsure what my next jarpig will be. Probably ff12 zodiac.

Have you played Oath in Felghana? I tried that game a while ago but after the first couple of bosses I couldn't win without levelling up, and my OCD doesn't let me grind2win in jrpgs. Are you supposed to win by dodging for 20 minutes and plinking away one damage at a time (slightly more for combo hits)? I thought nightmare mode was supposed to make the boss patters harder, does it actually just reduce the exp you gain?

That was my experience with Ys Origin.
Ran into same kind of situation as you, but then went to get a level or two and it made a world of difference.

Shadowhearts was so much fun. Yuri was a great protagonist and unlocking all the demon forms was cool as fuck. His ultimate form looks like a goddamn Kingdom Hearts OC, but the skill names alone manage to make it actually seem badass.

Still gotta get around to playing the second game one of these days.

God fucking dammit. He was so well rounded. Reckless, perverted, and kind-hearted. A lot of his defining traits would normally create a try-hard edgelord, but he managed to come off as really endearing and genuine at times.

About to start Barry's half of Ep 3

Might start Evil Within later since 2 is coming out next month, never did actually finish it entirely.

Little metal gear 5 and street fighter 5 on the side....really should start playing some of my other games

It is a better translated original and better overworld/dungeon design. Story remains more or less the same. Equipment is gone and it plays more like the rest of the Wild Arms series with the design of Wild Arms 2-5. You can skip encounters now, which is nice. More playable characters that join the party as well.

Only downside is the nice sprites from the original are gone.
