I am a Nintendo fan and I hate OS level achievements but I'm fine with it if there is an option to disable them. Achievements are a complete waste of time unless there is actually some in game reward, like Kirby Air Ride had.

First of all, achievements have never been a big issue in any game. They are always a side thought that people put in for additional content and more things to do after beating the game. I'm completely fine with achievements.
