If you don't feel Destiny within an hour you never will because it just repeats that same basic gameplay loop forever. I also never enjoyed it. Felt like it had some decent production quality but the core gameplay is just very boring. The endgame is literally grinding the same limited set of events over and over.

Yeah after playing it on PC, its almost a crime to play it on console, which is why they delayed it so much to try and get as many console sales as they can before people bail on it for the PC version.

The guys who did the port for PC did a fucking crazy good job it runs so nice.

Pretty much this. this game is the exact reason people bitched and moaned about cut content. You can literally see how smoothly the content snaps right into the base game of d1. hell d2 feels like just another expansion pack. Has about the same amount of content as one, too.

Destiny 1 had a great base, they just failed to add enough shit to do, and have it all matter in terms of progression. Destiny 2 does this. For people who enjoy the grind, of which there are many, Destiny 2 is better in almost every way

I thought the main story was a total slog but once you hit level 15, you get decent main missions, strikes, and, crucible. Loot collecting finally gets interesting at about 15.
