I just like that there's not a lot of wasted space. It's a really dense game with little secrets everywhere. The most wasteful location was probably just Goron town because of how they wanted to put ramps everywhere for no reason.

This is true of most of the the major sidequests, which are overrated as fuck for what they are. MM has some fantastically creative minor quest though that are equal to anything else in the series.

Also MM isn't really hipster anymore, it seems to be one of the more common "favorite Zeldas" these days. It's only really hipster in comparison to like, OoT or SS. I think Zelda 2 is the true hipster choice.
