Someone always asks, so I'll just get it out of the way now:

Gamestop has to (or at least used to when I worked there in like 2008) send anything with storage to get factory wiped, ever since some kid bought a PS3 with porn on the HDD. In order to prevent employees from accidentally selling memory cards or consoles that hadn't been sent out, they'd print out with that $9,999 price tag. Someone put Battletoads in there as a joke.

The GS system marks games and accessories that are meant to get shipped to their warehouse as 9999 so they aren't accidentally sold. Employees are meant to defect them out and send them to a warehouse so they can be stockpiled for the big happening. That happening being the one where they close all but their most profitable stores and rebrand the few remaining as retrostops that deal with any platform with physical media.
