1. Buy multiplats on console

2. Buy them on ps3 when it's known the 360 had better performance and visuals across the board

3. Buy current gen games on ps4 when pc's are cheaper and perform better

I've had my 08 hdmi 360 since the year it was produced and not once has it red ringed. I even left it on for a week when I went on holiday to download some game on my slow internet.

Your anecdote doesn't mean much. The 360 was defective garbage that MS are extremely lucky they weren't sued for. The failure rates on the early models were ridiculous. They should not have been sold.

I went through 3 of them from late 2005 when it launched through 2006. My solution was to use it only for exclusives once I got a ps3 on launch day. Went through another 2 Xbox 360s until 2009. My current 360 from 2009 is just barely functional these days. It's a colossal piece of garbage.

That still wouldn't make me stoop as low as to buy multiplats on the ps3. I made that mistake with gta4 and then again with red dead redemption. The games wasn't even fucking HD on the ps3 and it was a similar story for 95% of all the other multiplats on the ps3.

I've also been through 2 ps3s one with a disk drive that wouldn't eject and another which had the yellow light. I tried all the fixes to no avail and there is no reason to re buy one as it didn't have any games anyway except for the ps2 emulator functionality which I mainly used it for bit pcsx2 exists now and soon rpcs3.
