I have been playing tf2 daily in the last months and it's horrible how many cheaters there are.
And it's a pain in the ass getting rid of hell.
Reporting works only sometimes, kicking won't work because people either can't vote or simply can't spectate to see he's a cheater.
Hell, cheaters themselves now try to votekick others and successfully manage to do it. Especially because they always join servers with their army of bots with cheats activated, which can always vote in favour of the cheater himself.
And the worst thing is, these people can easily make thousands of free Steam accounts and download TF2 for fucking free, hence you will NEVER get rid of them.
It's terrible, fucking terrible. And Valve refuses to update the game for more than one year. Unbelievable.

Something like this is actually true in Dark Souls III. If you're an invader and drop an item that a player is not supposed to have in the inventory (for example a gesture) it is possible to get this guy banned if he holds onto it long enough. Doesn't really stop you from spawning items that are legitimate and thank God, grinding for souls is retarded.

I wish TF2 would come back being a paid game. A cheap one but still not free.
