Which were better... LucasArts or Sierra adventure games?

/v/ is too young for this thread. Any Sierra game loses by default by the way

I've been pirating games since I was a young kid anon. There were entire bulletin boards dedicated to it
My first Sierra game was an educational game about the American Revolution called Pepper's Adventure in Time and I loved it.
Also, picrelated is the patrician choice.

Lucasarts easily, though Sierra had some good ones.
Shame Thimbleweed park had such a shitty ending, worse than ME3. That was great until the plot twist

Yeah it's disappointing. I hated how the game was full of red herrings like characters getting kidnapped that end up having nothing todo with the game. Ron Gilbert should have never done another MI2 style ending.

LucasArts without any doubt, LucasArts games had better writing, better puzzles, no dead man walking traps, better engine/graphics.

Thanks for sharing that you've never actually grown up at all, I'm not sure how that's relevant though.

as a classic /v/ contrarian, i hate to go with the crowd, but i must say Lucasarts; without a doubt. Monkey Island, Full Throttle, Maniac Mansion, Sam and Max, best Indiana Jones games ever made, and Grim Fandango (although I never beat this one). You just can't compete with those.

Finish Grim Fandangit. Never have I seen an ending as bittersweet.
