It runs very well with one exception: particles slow down the game at half speed, which happens at some rare places:
During rain, sandworm boss, lava dungeon, very last fight
Otherwise it ran at fullspeed 100% of the time for me
No visual glitch too and the pictobox bug got fixed recently so the game is essentially playable to full completion
I recommend it over the GC version because the GC is 4:3 and the textures do look quite rubbish when compared to the Wii U.
There's a patch for the excessive bloom too, but the bloom isn't as intensive as shown in the screenshot you quoted, it doesn't look bad at all in game in my opinion
